Archery

During our archery sessions, we usually shoot a round, which involves completing a set number of arrows at a variety of distances and target sizes. This keeps every session interesting and helps you develop consistency, accuracy, and confidence across a range of shooting conditions.
We shoot in small groups — up to eight archers at a time — taking three arrows each before walking down to collect and score. It’s a relaxed, sociable rhythm that gives everyone a chance to shoot, chat, compare shots, and learn from one another.
Our programme includes seven different rounds, with indoor distances reaching up to 25 metres, and more than a dozen outdoor options going out to 50 metres. To help you track progress, we also provide a set of performance tables that let you compare your scores between different rounds and distances. It’s a great motivational tool and an easy way to see your improvement over time.
We welcome a full range of bow styles, including longbows, recurves, and compound bows, so no matter what you shoot — or what you’re interested in trying — there’s a place for you on the line.
