Our Full-Bore Rifle shoots take place at the historic and impressive Hythe and Lydd Military Ranges, giving members the chance to experience long-distance marksmanship in a truly authentic setting. These sessions are arranged on an ad hoc basis, ensuring we can make the most of available range days throughout the year.  Most shoots are held on Saturday mornings, with occasional opportunities on Fridays, and the rare Sunday session when range access allows. Shoots typically run from 8:30am to 12:30pm, giving you a solid four hours on the firing point to practice technique, challenge yourself at extended distances, and enjoy the unique atmosphere of a military training environment.  Full-bore shooting offers an exciting mix of precision, discipline, and power — and whether you’re seasoned or completely new to the discipline, these sessions are a fantastic way to develop your skills and grow in confidence under safe, supervised conditions.
